Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $4.19 per gallon at two gas stations in Barnstable County during the week ending Apr. 4, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $4.27 per gallon.
Of the 110 reported gas stations located within Barnstable County, seven offered midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Massachusetts was $4.31, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
