Barnstable County school districts: Barnstable Public Schools enrolled most students in 2024-25 school year

Barnstable Public Schools had the largest enrollment among Barnstable County school districts, with 4,680 students in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Of the students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, 52.3% were boys, 47.5% were girls, and 0.2% identified themselves as non-binary or did not specify their gender.

The most represented ethnic group among Barnstable Public Schools students was white, accounting for 47.3% of the student body.

Among the 19 school districts in Barnstable County, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District ranked second in enrollment with 3,054 students, while Falmouth Public Schools ranked third with 2,866.
