The graduation rate in Dukes County rose 6.6% and reached 89.6% in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

More specifically, there were 173 students who graduated that year, compared to 147 in the previous year.

Dukes County had the fourth lowest graduation rate in the state.

According to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, public schools in Massachusetts achieved an average graduation rate of 89.2% in 2023.
