During the month of May, Dennis Public Library is pleased to have two local artists displaying their work.
The mosaics of Mary Dunn Cauley can be found in the Library’s Benjamin & Ruth Muse Meeting Room. Ms. Cauley is a mosaic artist and teacher, selling mosaic artwork and teaching on Cape Cod for over 15 years. She has studied under and learned the craft from local mosaic artists James Bowen and Linda Dadek. She has also trained with mosaic artists Sonia King, Lynn Chinn, and Martin Cheek. Her inspiration comes from the natural surrounding beauty of Cape Cod. Each piece is unique in color and texture, incorporating glass, tile, dishes, jewelry and objects from nature to create the one-of-a-kind mosaic. Check out her website at www.capecodmosaics.com
