Notice of Public Hearing

Barnstable County Proposed Ordinance No. 22-26

On November 2, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold a hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearing on Proposed Ordinance 22-26, Repealing Ordinance 16-03, Establishing the timeline for the Assembly of Delegates' review and vote on the County Commissioners' proposed fiscal budgets for all Fiscal Years commencing with Fiscal Year 2017 and all subsequent years unless amended by Ordinance; and fixing a time within which the Board of Regional Commissioners shall submit to the Assembly of Delegates its proposed operating budget for the ensuing fiscal year. The public hearing will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. It will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinance. The full text of the proposed ordinance has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for November 2, 2022 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to owen.fletcher@barnstablecounty.org before noon on the date of the public hearing. The public hearing and Assembly meeting will be live streamed on the Barnstable County YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/BarnstableCountyVideo.
