LEGAL NOTICE FOR PUBLIC MEETING & HEARING

A public meeting and hearing by the Old King’s Highway Regional Historic District Commission will be held, in accordance with Chapter 470 of the Acts of 1973 (as amended) at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the West Barnstable Fire Station Meeting Room, 2160 Meetinghouse Way (Route #149), West Barnstable, Massachusetts. 

The following matter will be heard and /or acted upon: 

Appeal No. 2022-8 filed by Marcy Dugas, Trustee seeking reversal and annulment of the Barnstable Town Committee’s decision issuing a Certificate of Appropriateness to Craig Bishop to replace a stone wall with a stone wall using the same matching materials and mortar joints. Said stone wall is located at 1525 Hyannis Road, Barnstable, Massachusetts which is shown on Town Map 298, as Parcel 007. The Barnstable Town Committee’s decision was made on October 12, 2022, and notice filed with the Barnstable Town Clerk on October 17, 2022. The Appeal Petition was filed on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Copies of the Appeal Petition and Certificate of Appropriateness are available for public viewing at the Barnstable Town Clerk’s Office, 367 Main Street, Hyannis, Massachusetts 02601, during regular business hours. 

PLEASE PARK IN REAR LOT AREA.  HANDICAPPED ONLY MAY PARK IN FRONT.  PLEASE RESPECT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT'S NEED FOR USE OF FRONT PARKING AREA.
