2.6% more students enrolled in Oak Bluffs School District in 2022-23 school year

There were 438 students enrolled in Oak Bluffs School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.6% more than the year before, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.3% identified as male and 47.7% identified themselves as female.

Oak Bluffs School District registered the 321st-largest enrollment in the state.

Oak Bluffs School District roughly covers a school within Dukes County, and has a main office in Vineyard Haven.

Students in Massachusetts are predominantly white, making up 53% of the student population in the state. Hispanic students come in second, representing over 25% of Massachusetts' student body.

However, across the state, Hispanic and Native American students suffered the highest high school dropout rates.

Under representation is also found among educators in Massachusetts. The Rennie Center reported that only 9% of teachers are people of color.
