The Town of Truro announced on Apr. 9 that it is hiring a Shared Services Coordinator to manage the Outer Cape Public Health Collaborative, also known as OC Wellness. The position is responsible for overseeing grant management and leading the planning and execution of public health programs.

This role is important as it supports the newly created collaborative aimed at enhancing public health services in the area. The coordinator will play a key part in managing resources and ensuring that community health initiatives are carried out effectively.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, business administration, or a related field. While one year of experience in public health or municipal or state government is preferred, an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. The salary range for this non-union position is $85,000 to $93,000 annually with work hours ranging from 20 to 35 per week.

The job is funded through the Public Health Excellence Grant for Shared Services program, which currently provides funding through at least 2028. Interested candidates can find more information about the job description and application process on www.truro-ma.gov/jobs. Applications must be submitted by April 17 at 4:00 pm.

The Town emphasized its commitment to equal opportunity employment (EOE) practices.
