The Truro Energy Committee announced on April 7 that it is seeking citizens to fill one full-member unexpired term and up to two alternate one-year terms. Applications are due by April 23 at 4:00 p.m.

The committee is inviting residents who are interested in energy-related matters to participate in local decision-making. These positions provide an opportunity for community members to contribute to the town’s ongoing energy initiatives.

Interested individuals can apply online by visiting www.truro-ma.gov/apply and clicking on the Application to Serve link. The Energy Committee’s webpage, which provides more information about its work and responsibilities, can be accessed at https://www.truro-ma.gov/449/Energy-Committee.

The call for new members comes as part of the committee’s regular process of filling vacancies and ensuring a broad representation of voices from within the community. The committee encourages all eligible residents with an interest in energy policy or sustainability issues to consider applying.

Applications must be submitted before the deadline on April 23 at 4:00 p.m., after which candidates will be reviewed for appointment.
