The Truro Recreation Advisory Committee announced on April 1 that it is conducting a community survey to gather input from residents and families about recreation opportunities in the town. The committee said the deadline to complete the survey is May 18.

The purpose of the survey is to collect feedback that will help guide future planning, programming, and facility use for recreation in Truro. Organizers say they want to ensure that programs reflect the needs and interests of all members of the community.

According to the announcement, “Your input will help guide future planning, programming, and facility use. Your feedback matters! It helps ensure Truro’s programs reflect the needs and interests of our whole community.” The committee also thanked participants for taking time to share their views: “Thank you for taking the time to share your voice!”

Residents are encouraged to spend about five minutes completing the online questionnaire. The committee emphasized that every response contributes valuable insight into how recreation services can be improved or expanded.

Looking ahead, officials say results from this survey will inform decisions on recreational offerings in Truro. Community members can access and complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TruroRAC.
