The Town of Truro announced on April 2 that it will hold a Pre-Town Meeting and Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Hearing on Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. The event is set to take place in person at the Truro Community Center, located at 7 Standish Way, with options for residents to participate via livestream on TruroTV/Channel 8 or remotely through Zoom.

The meeting aims to give community members an opportunity to learn more about the warrant articles for the upcoming 2026 Annual Town Meeting. Attendees will also have a chance to ask questions directly to the Finance Committee, Select Board, and article sponsors.

Childcare services are available upon request through the town’s community services website. More details about the event and related materials can be found on the official town website.

The scheduled hearing is part of ongoing efforts by local officials to ensure transparency and public engagement in municipal budgeting and decision-making processes. Residents are encouraged to attend or tune in using one of several participation options provided by the town.
