Truro to host Candidates’ Night for 2026 annual election on May 5

The Town of Truro announced on Apr. 23 that it will hold a Candidates’ Night for the upcoming 2026 Annual Election Ballot on Tuesday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in person at the Truro Community Center, located at 7 Standish Way, and will also be accessible remotely via Zoom and livestreamed through TruroTV/Channel 8.

Candidates’ Night gives residents an opportunity to meet individuals running for several key positions, including Select Board, School Committee, Moderator, Library Trustees, Cemetery Commission, Planning Board, and Housing Authority.

This event aims to provide voters with direct access to candidates ahead of the election. Residents can attend in person or join remotely using the provided Zoom link (Meeting ID: 826 6068 5449) or by tuning into TruroTV/Channel 8.
