The Town of Truro will present its proposed new town seal design at a public unveiling on April 8 at the Truro Public Library. The event is scheduled for 5:00 pm and will take place at 7 Standish Way, North Truro, according to an announcement released on April 7.

The unveiling gives residents an opportunity to learn about the project and view the proposed design before it is presented for voter approval at the Annual Town Meeting. Attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments while engaging with committee members about the process behind developing the new seal.

Town officials say that community involvement has been central to the creation of the new design, and this event marks a key step in ensuring transparency and gathering feedback from residents ahead of any final decision.

More information about the project can be found by visiting the Town Seal Committee Ad Hoc webpage.

The adoption of a new town seal is expected to be decided by voters during the upcoming Annual Town Meeting.
