There were two gas stations in cities across Dukes County selling diesel at the lowest price of $4.19 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 11, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of diesel in cities within Dukes County was $4.22 per gallon.
Of the nine reported gas stations in cities within Dukes County, three offer diesel.
The $3.66 average reported price of diesel in Massachusetts was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
